Maybe not the sunniest Easter weekend Malta has ever seen but it is still pretty good…
The long-awaited Easter weekend is upon us and many Holy week enthusiasts across Malta have hoping for some great weather so all of Malta’s traditions can be enjoyed to the fullest.
But what weather is being forecast for this Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Sunday?
Starting off with tomorrow’s Good Friday, the skies are expected to be mainly cloudy with the wind fluctuating between Force three and Force four. The temperature will vary between 17°C to 10°C so make sure to bring a warm coat if you’re planning on going out to see the various Good Friday processions.
By Saturday, the weather is look a bit better as the skies are predicted to only be partly cloudy. The wind force should decrease as well as it will vary between Force two and Force three. The temperature will remain more or less the same as Friday with temperatures reaching a 17°C high and a 10°C low.
Easter Sunday is looking bright, just in time for all the family to go out and enjoy to Risen Christ processions all around the villages in Malta and Gozo. The skies are set to be mainly sunny as temperatures reach an 18°C high and an 11°C low. However, the winds are forecast to pick up later in the day as they reach Force five.
In fact, next Monday Force six winds are set to hit the Maltese Islands but at least by then we would have managed to celebrate Easter weekend in peace!
