What a throwback! Do you remember this popular spot in Sliema?
Woah!

Back in the day, this location was a go-to spot being along one of the most prominent areas in Sliema – the promenade (Sliema Front). The Seaview Hotel was a beloved accommodation spot in the heart of the busy town.

It was situated right by one of the coastal watchtowers, the St Julian’s Tower (although it is technically in Sliema). The photo brings back major nostalgia, and according to a Facebook user, it seems this was taken sometime in the 1950s. This area has indeed changed as the hotel no longer stands and various establishments have opened in its place.
