St John's Co-Cathedral Facebook page has revealed an interesting update, inviting its audience on a journey of discovery within the intricate details of the Order of the Knights of St John's motto, 'Pour La Foy' (For the Faith).

The posted photo challenges history enthusiasts to use their virtual magnifying glass to spot the motto within the pages of the Illuminated Choral Books.

Commissioned by the esteemed French Grand Master, Frà Philippe Villiers de L’Isle Adam, these illuminated manuscripts serve as a reminder to the rich history and tradition of the Order.

The depiction of the motto, intertwined with a blue-armoured forearm grasping a sword, symbolises the Grand Master's dedication to the Roman Catholic faith and the mission of the Order.

Housed within the historic walls of St John's Co-Cathedral, the page extends an invitation for further exploration when visiting the cathedral.
