We Give Joy, a recently-launched charity organisation that encourages the community to give back through various projects and acts of kindness, has just collected 378 chocolate Easter eggs which will be given out to children in need this Easter.
“As our first call to action comes to a close, I'm happy to announce that we collected an impressive 378 Easter eggs!! Yes, 378!!” wrote founder Lippu Zammit, whilst sharing a photo of an impressive sea of Easter eggs which were donated by the public.
“All of which will find the arms of a child going through a hard time this Easter and that will hopefully give them something to smile about!”
Lippu thanked everyone who played their part in making the collection happen.
“No matter how big or small your contribution, please remember you have made a difference in someone’s life with this small of act of kindness,” he wrote on Facebook. “I am honestly blown away by your generosity. Thank you for believing in me, and my initiative. May it bring joy to those who need it the most!”
Lippu will also be preparing a home cooked Easter Sunday lunch for the underprivileged at the YMCA.
