Kudos to these guys! Last night, the fire brigade and animal ambulance came to this little guy’s rescue. Local onlooker Mary Claire Calleja shot the footage from her balcony in the capital, capturing the heroic moment.

Rescuers worked quickly and swiftly to get the poor thing untangled from the electrical wire. Mary Claire tells us, from what she could see, the pigeon couldn’t move and might have broken its legs.

Locals cheered on the firefighter who managed to untie the pigeon, before handing it over to the animal ambulance personnel. People who were on the scene gathered next to the fire truck and the ambulance to make sure the poor guy was alright.
