Way to go, boys! These locals have restored our faith in humanity by performing quite the difficult task while out at sea. Local fishermen who were out at sea gathering the day’s catch found a bigger sea friend that needed help.

After coming across a turtle with its flipper wrapped in fishing wire, the fishermen immediately came to the rescue, freeing the turtle from its bonds. The fishermen have said in the comments section of the video they posted that they were two days out at sea with no cell reception, so calling Nature Trust Malta was impossible. They did, however, release the little guy (or gal!) back into the wild.
