We all know that dogs are man’s best friend, and this heart-warming moment that happened at Mater Dei Hospital proves just that. Little Andrew has been in the hospital for three weeks, and his one wish was to meet Ilio, the adorable service dog.

As soon as Ilio walked through the doors, Andrew’s face instantly lit up with joy, and he just couldn’t stop smiling and petting the doggo. And can you blame him? Ilio is the cutest!

Service Dogs Malta Foundation, the organisation that helped put this together, said that Ilio made Andrew a very happy kid. “He couldn’t stop smiling and it obviously was a big surprise for him” - one that he definitely appreciated.
