These guys are the definition of Maltese spirit! Everyone meet Duncan and Anabelle, two locals who ran a marathon organised by the Societa’ Filarmonica La Vittoria Mellieha over the weekend. But, wait it gets better...

Duncan and Anabelle spent their weekend walking and running a whopping 110km across the islands, all in aid of Puttinu Cares. They kicked off their route in Mellieha and proceeded to Cirkewwa, crossed over to Gozo, went to Mgarr and Gharb, then back to Cirkewwa. From there, went down south toe Birzebbuga and then all the way back up to Mellieha.

The whole route took over 16 hours to complete between Saturday and Sunday. Duncan and Anabelle were congratulated and welcomed with open arms – and a band march! – once they arrived back in Mellieha.
