An Instagram reel uploaded and shot by videographer Andrew Mizzi, shows what Malta’s capital city of Valletta would look like if it was filmed for a Wes Anderson film.

Wes Anderson is an award-winning American director that is largely known for his eccentric and perfectly symmetrical shots that make use of a very specific and limited colour palette.

This has made his films incredibly distinctive and well known, to the point that a whole trend hit social media where video creators across the globe are filming aspects from their life as if it was a Wes Anderson film.

Local videographer, Andrew Mizzi decided to jump on the trend and film Valletta, Malta’s picture-perfect city through the style of Wes Anderson.

The video moves from on still shot to another as it depicts the various quirks that make Valletta such an iconic city.

From women hanging their clothing, to the picturesque buildings and the various cute Maltese shops across the city, the video truly captures the essence as to what makes Valletta so special.
