As an avid fan of Matthew James and REK, I’m loving this new song! High is actually the last chapter of a three-part story that started with the much-loved songs Paul and Young Again, which he released as part of REK.
High’s lyrics speak about rising above sources of anxiety, letting nothing or no-one stop you from being the best YOU. In fact, Matthew James has teamed up with Richmond Foundation to raise awareness and funds for increasing anxiety and mental disorders among young people. 50 per cent of every iTunes download will be donated to Richmond.
The Lemonade singer also teamed up with Maka Visuals for video production, music producer and X Factor judge Howard Keith to master the track, White Noise for the artwork and the talented Rebecca Attard as the featured actress. Matthew James and Mark Kram Attard mixed the song, and what a result!
