Gwilym Bugeja’s magic casts a spell on Valletta – and its not over yet!
He made shows disappear and crowds laugh – now Gwilym’s taking it further

After successfully launching his first theatrical magic show last weekend, Gwilym Bugeja is planning to refine the act and take it abroad.

Coming Out As A Magician ran for three nights at the Valletta Campus Theatre and was a roaring success.

In it, Gwilym showcased an array of classical, illusion-style, and mind-bending tricks that left people  wondering how he pulled them off, while also delivering several funny moments with the audience (he made my shoe disappear at a point).

And for those who were unable to see it, fear not.

After receiving incredible feedback, Gwilym made it clear that there is life in this show yet.

“I’ve been working on this project for over a year, and my goal is to continue refining it, with the hope of eventually taking it abroad in the near future,” he said.

“Performing this show here in Malta, and having you in the audience, marks the very first step of that journey. I can’t express how much it meant to have you there and supporting me.”
