WATCH: Explore the large caves overlooking Maghlaq Valley in Qrendi, Malta
A great hiking spot before the weather gets insufferably hot…

In his latest vlog, local explorer Pierre Farrugia took his followers on quite the hike along the Maghlaq Valley area to explore the nearby and vast caves.

He started in the Ghar Lapsi area, walking alongside the cliffs area on this beautiful spring day. He even passed by another set of cliffs that were full of many caves.

In fact, he encountered many rock climbers enjoying the stunning views while climbing these magnificent cliffs.

After quite a long but nonetheless scenic walk, Pierre finally reached the Maghlaq Valley.

He first went down to the nearby bay. The secluded beach looks like the perfect spot for a swim when you want to get away from the crowds.

Pierre started to climb all the way up to the caves. This wasn’t the easiest of walks so be ready for some terrain before attempting it.

He finally reached the huge caves that sported some amazing views of Filfla and all the nearby surroundings.

The caves, although incredible were quite dangerous as some of huge pieces of rock were collapsing so make sure to be extra careful when visiting.

Such caves were most likely inhabited ages ago as they provided great shelter.

Have you ever visited?
