After weeks of speculation and sightings across the island, ‘Enola Holmes 3’ star Millie Bobby Brown has confirmed what many in Malta already knew – the hit Netflix sequel has been filming right here on the island, and it looks like production has now wrapped.

The actress took to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, captioning them with a simple ‘case closed’ – a fitting nod to her character’s detective prowess and a clear sign that filming has come to an end.

In the photos, Millie is seen relaxing with her co-star Louis Partridge and director Philip Barantini, lounging on a beach, all smiles. One shot shows her and Louis wearing matching white baseball caps printed with ‘Malta’ and the iconic eight-pointed cross – a subtle but sweet tribute to the filming location.

Another photo, taken in front of a cathedral façade lit up at night, hints at the historic and atmospheric locations that are sure to feature in the upcoming film.

As ‘Enola Holmes 3’ heads into post-production, fans are already counting down the days until they can catch Millie’s latest adventure – and spot some familiar Maltese scenery along the way.

Will you be watching to see Malta on screen?
