We love these blasts from the past! This time round we’re taking a look back at vintage Maltese vehicles, including cars, old tallinja buses and trucks. Facebook page Maltese Vehicles posted an awesome throwback video montage of photos of these incredible vintage vehicles. Check out these 8 cool ones!

1. Maltese bus

Ok, a bit larger than your average car, but we couldn't not mention Maltese iconic old bus, or as we call it: tal-linja. The yellow discontinued buses have since become an iconic Maltese symbol.

2. Minis!

These colourful mini cars look so cool driving through Malta’s streets.

3. Traditional tractor

What a shot! A traditional tractor is seen next to an old Maltese cart, showing how transport has changed over time.

4. Beetles

These cool vintage Beetles are just something else. They kinda remind us of the Herbie movies, too!

5. Truly vintage

Now that’s a snazzy car! Imagine rolling the windows down and cruisin’ through the streets. We’d definitely turn some heads!

6. Throwback!

This shot shows an old Maltese blue bus on a local stamp. The iconic symbol is still part of Maltese culture today.
