The Summer in Gozo 2026 programme was recently launched presenting an extensive schedule of cultural and entertainment events set to take place across the island between July and September.

The initiative builds on the success achieved in previous years and aims to highlight Gozo's vibrant cultural scene, natural charm and unique identity.

While Gozo is widely recognised for its scenic landscapes and coastline, the island has much more to offer. Culture remains an integral part of daily life in Gozo, reflected through its heritage, artistic expression, music, traditions and the strong sense of community shared by its residents.

During the summer months, Gozo's towns and villages come alive as squares, streets and public spaces host a variety of concerts, exhibitions, cultural events and community celebrations.

The programme is set to not only enriche the experience of visitors but also strengthens the social and cultural fabric of the island.

The programme includes a number of flagship events, among them the traditional Gozitan festas, Hondoq by Night, Closer to the Voice – Charles Buttigieg Live, the Gozo Food Festival, Xwejni Music Fest, Opera vs Pop under the Stars, the Gozo Ceramic Festival, D Capitals Live at Cittadella, Rock Legends, the Exhibition of Farming and Crafts, the Gozo Film Festival 2026, Levant Music Fest and the Gozo Puppets Festival.

The programme offers something for everyone, whether their interests lie in music, tradition or the arts.
