Valletta Waterfront breaks Malta’s national record for largest Nutcracker ever built
It’s seven metres tall!

Emma Galea

Nutcrackers are a staple decoration during Christmas time but no Christmas nutcracker in the history of the islands of Malta and Gozo were quite as huge as this one.

The Valletta Waterfront just broke the national record for the largest ever Nutcracker built in Malta.

The Nutcracker that stands at a height of seven metres, a width of over two metres and a depth of over 1.5 metres was built by the team at the Valletta Cruise Port.

The grand figure stands at the Valletta Waterfront, right by the strolling promenade.

And just in case you missed it, it will be out on display till the 6th January, 2023.

Well done to everyone involved!
