Valletta eatery Trattoria Da Pippo gets praise-filled shoutout from Italian newspaper
The review described this spot as 'one of the most incredible and hidden places in Europe.'

Well-known Italian newspaper La Repubblica has just published a rave review about Valletta’s very own Trattoria Da Pippo.

Found on Melita Street, this quaint eatery serves up fresh, tasty, and downright decadent Italian dishes. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that Trattoria Da Pippo has already made a name for itself with locals, foreigners, and a handful of celebrities.

Upon walking into the trattoria, “you enter in another dimension where it’s easy to lose track of time and it’s not unusual to leave surprised that the day’s light has gone, La Repubblica’s Dario Silvestri wrote.

The author even described the spot as "one of the most incredible and hidden places in Europe."

"In Valletta, a stop at the Trattoria da Pippo by Francesco Cutajar, a Maltese lover of Italy, a great Juventus fan, and a food and wine enthusiast. A place that attracts locals and international guests (like Brad Pitt)." the review added.
