Tuesday 14th September: 50 new COVID-19 cases registered as one new patient admitted to ITU
No virus-related deaths were registered in the past 24 hours.

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 50 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The islands have registered 26 recoveries, meaning that the country’s total number of active cases now stands at 747.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 13th September, Malta had administered 806,726 vaccine doses. 2,955 of these were booster doses.

Thankfully, no deaths have been registered over the past 24 hours, meaning the local death toll remains at 449.

A total of 32 patients are being treated at Mater Dei, with five currently in ITU.
