It looks like yesterday’s sunny Easter Sunday is here to stay this week! According to Maltese Islands Weather, Malta is set for a largely fine and settled week, with sunshine dominating the forecast and very little chance of rain.
Temperatures are expected to gradually rise in the first half of the week, bringing increasingly warm and pleasant conditions. Starting from around 21°C on Tuesday, highs will climb to 23°C on Wednesday and peak at approximately 24°C on Thursday. With light to moderate winds and calm seas, these days are ideal for outdoor activities, offering classic spring weather across the islands.
From Friday onwards, a noticeable shift will take place as cooler air moves in. Temperatures are forecast to drop to around 18°C on Friday and settle closer to 17°C over the weekend. While conditions will remain mostly sunny, Sunday may see some patchy cloud cover, marking a slight change from the clear skies earlier in the week.
Despite the dip in temperatures, the overall outlook remains stable and dry. Rain risk stays very low throughout the week, with only a small increase to around 25% by Sunday, though no measurable rainfall is currently expected.
Sea conditions will also become rougher toward the weekend due to strengthening winds, particularly from the east.
Nonetheless, with plenty of sunshine and mild conditions, the week ahead is shaping up to be a pleasant one across Malta, especially in the lead-up to Thursday’s warmer peak.
