“Today it was us who were paid forward” – Jacob’s Brew received the best surprise this morning
Thank you to the anonymous person!

Jacob’s Brew in Marsaskala has been paying it forward for the past three years ever since Jacob’s idea of creating a coffee shop with a pay-it-forward theme came to life. Putting good into the world is always repaid and good karma has circled back to this family-run cafe.

“Received this message today from a person who wishes to remain anonymous,” Jacob’s Brew said on Facebook, sharing a screenshot of message from someone who has offered to pay their rent for a month.

“Feeling totally overwhelmed by this act of kindness. We have been 3 years paying it forward to help others. Today it was us who were paid forward helping us to continue to do what we do.”

During COVID-19 many establishments have suffered and are now trying to get back on their feet as measures have been lifted. “I have just paid 6 months rent. It has wiped us out. Now hopefully when we reopen we make enough money to continue.”

Thank you to the kind-hearted person!
