'Tis the season to be jolly! 5 favourite wintery places with Maltese pop star Gaia Cauchi
Christmas is now just around the corner, and we're super excited, to say the least! Gaia Cauchi might be an internationally recognised popstar, who's in the middle of a London recording session as we speak, but when it comes to Christmas, she's a self-confessed home bod!
"In the winter I love to stay home and stare at the rain and watch Christmas movies with my family" she tells Guide Me Malta, and we don't blame her. We love getting snuggled up and sticking 'Love Actually' on and eating Quality Street in our Christmas PJs just like a popstar too!
From girly dinners to ice skating, we caught up with Gaia to find out where she loves to spend her leisure time during the chillier months. We don't know about you, but all this talk of shopping sprees and Christmas markets has got us into the Christmas Spirit! Here's what Gaia had to share with Guide Me Malta.
1. For cosy family festivities
"During Christmas my family and I love to stay in on the sofa and watch either Xfactor UK, or some movies, as long as we’re all cuddled up together!"
2. For a spot of Christmas shopping
"The place where I love doing my shopping from the most is Oxford Street in London...there’s just way too many shops to choose from, and I love shopping!"
3. For a winter's day out with friends
"I love to go to the cinema and watch Christmas films with my friends or go bowling!"
4. For a glam dressed-up dinner
"My favorite restaurant to go to is Sciacca Grill. Simply amazing food and the atmosphere is always very good too! My absolute fave thing to order when i go here is the T-Bone steak. If you get the chance to go, you should defo give it a try. YUMMY!"
5. For a Christmassy weekend abroad
"This year, I would love to go to ice skating at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, London, because I’ve never been! I’ve heard so many great things about it and I think it’s about time to try it out since I’m going up to the UK in December...I can't wait!"
