The Valley Road rebuilding project has been ongoing (and also at a standstill) a year after it started, with the Balzan local council saying in a statement that it is still in its early stages. The local council said that the project is important to improve the quality and understands that such developments take time.

However, the local council has expressed its concern that after a year of works the project is still in its early stages and is causing inconvenience to the residents, having roads full of dust and open ditches. The council said it didn’t want the issue to become a political one, but is simply concerned about the residents’ interests.

Here's hoping the project will be finished sooner rather than later!
