Here's today's update.
The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 222 new cases of COVID-19 after 3,629swabs were done in the past 24 hours.
The islands have registered 10 recoveries, meaning the total recovery tally remains at 30,202 and the number of active cases to 1,212. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 31,834 cases and has performed 1,029,618 swab tests. Thankfully, no deaths have been registered over the past 24 hours, meaning the local death toll remains at 420.
The post also noted that until yesterday, 14th July, 715,447 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 377,373 of these were first doses while 353,929 people are now fully vaccinated.
