They're bringing the true meaning of Christmas to life! Local organisation We Give Joy is back at it this Christmas spreading joy to those less fortunate on the Maltese Islands together with some great outlets who have volunteered their time.

Who are We Give Joy?

If you haven’t heard of these guys, allow us to fill you in. We Give Joy is a charity organisation, headed by Lippu Zammit, that encourages the community to give back through various projects and acts of kindness. They launched back in March and have been doing good ever since.

The true Christmas spirit

“Christmas is always a special time… It’s the time of the year where we all get together with our loved ones and share a joke, a smile, a drink and a warm meal… Unfortunately though for some, that is not guaranteed,” they write in a Facebook post.

“So as is tradition, this Christmas we will be once again making sure that all residents and staff at the YMCA Malta shelter gets a warm meal,” they announce. How sweet is that! We Give Joy reached out to the Plaza Food Hall and have the Hawaiian-inspired resto, Po-K and the Indian outlet, The Tiffin Box Malta on board, who will be catering for the less fortunate tomorrow morning.

“We were truly overwhelmed with their support!” they say, thanking those involved. “May we all learn to give more than we get.”
