This adults-only cruise has just announced a Mediterranean route, but is Malta on it?
We've got the deets.
While "adults-only and rebellious luxe cruise experience" Virgin-Voyages will kick off their first sailing season next April with the Scarlet Lady, which will cover the Caribbean and Mexico, they've also announced that a second ship, Valiant Lady, will be cruising around the Med, beginning in the port of Barcelona. But the burning question in our minds is: will it stop on our beloved islands?
We got in touch with Valletta Cruise Port to find out. “Virgin Valletta is not showing as yet on the Virgin cruise itineraries,” a spokesperson said. Boo! We were hoping they would... However, hope is not lost - "Valletta Cruise Port is always happy to welcome any new cruise lines,” a spokesperson said.
“After all, Valletta Cruise Port and Malta as a cruise destination have been awarded a host of awards, with some of the most recent ones being “Best Terminal Operator” by Cruise Insight (for two consecutive years!) and listed as “Top-Rated Mediterranean Cruise Destination” Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice by the passengers themselves. So never say never!” they reveal.
What do you guys think? Should Virgin include Malta in their Mediterranean route?
