Wondering why the newly released film Red Notice is ranking number one on Maltese Netflix today? Well, this could be your answer…

The streaming service’s latest blockbuster, starring Hollywood favourites Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds, gave our island a cameo of sorts.

As the three principle actors end up together on a boat towards the end of a film, hawk-eyed viewers spotted the Maltese flag flying proudly on the vessel’s stern.
