Maltese Facebook user Patricia Graham took to social media to share a very heart-warming incident involving her son, Brodie, and a young postman named Owen.

“The young postie who delivers in Pembroke came to the aid of my youngster today, near the primary school, when the laces on his trainers got stuck in the chain of his bike,” Patricia wrote.

“It seems he shouted for help, but you were the only one who went to his aid, so a massive thank you to you as he was terrified that he’d be hit by a car or whatever was coming round that corner,” she continued.

Finishing off her post, Patricia noted that thanks to the fact that he was wearing his helmet, Brodie walked away with just a couple of “bumps and a very bruised ego.”

It’s safe to say that Brodie’s kind gesture didn’t go unnoticed, as Owen went as far as making him a personalised ‘thank you’ card!

“Thank you for helping me the other day. Have a merry Christmas,” the young boy wrote.

Thanks for your exemplary service, Owen!
