The Maltese-British actor has been cast in Viva La Madness and Jason Statham Stole My Bike
Fresh off landing a starring role in Enola Holmes 3, Maltese-British actor Joe Azzopardi also set to feature in two upcoming Jason Statham films – Viva La Madness and Jason Statham Stole My Bike.
“He’s very professional but he’s also a genuinely lovely human being,” Azzopardi tells GuideMeMalta of Statham. “He had his kids on set for one of the films and I could also tell what an amazing father he is.”
The two Jason Statham films were shot in Malta this year.
One of them is Viva La Madness, directed by Guy Ritchie, in which Statham stars in. Joe Azzopardi plays a critical role alongside Camilla Mendes, Jason Isaacs, Ben Foster, among others.
The second is David Leitch’s Jason Statham Stole My Bike, which is set to see Statham play a fictionalised version of himself, also starring Hannah Waddingham.
Azzopardi is unable to reveal details about his role just yet, but we do know that the role is certainly one you have never seen Joe in before!
The Maltese actor said starring in Enola Holmes 3 has opened several new doors for him, leading to several new opportunities. As his acting career continues to gather momentum, he has now partnered with a manager and a publicist, is auditioning regularly and... well, we may have more news to share very soon about his next role!
