A number of 15 localities around Malta and Gozo are set to undergo planned power cuts this upcoming weekend.

This is largely due to maintenance and safety checks on the islands power grid.  

Fortunately, Enemalta, our local electricity provider, has published the list of localities with the exact times the power cuts will occur. This way, you can plan ahead.   

Only select streets from the following localities will be affected.   

Here’s the full list of affected areas:

Friday 2nd December:

Malta:

• Marsaskala from 8am to 11:45pm
• Mosta from 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Birgu from 9am to 1pm
• Floriana from 4:30am to 8:30am & 7:30pm to 4am (3rd December)
• H’Attard from 7:30am to 12pm
• Hal-Lija from 7:30am to 12pm
• Hal-Qormi from 8am to 11pm
• Fgura from 7am to 1pm
• Is-Siggiewi from 8am to 12pm

Gozo:

• Ta’ Sannat from 8:30am to 2:30pm

Saturday 3rd December:

Malta:

• Kalkara from 7am to 1pm

Sunday 4^th December:

Malta:

• San Giljan from 8am to 2pm
• Tas-Sliema from 8am to 2pm
• Kalkara from 7am to 12pm
• Mosta from 8:30am to 3:30pm
• L’Imsida from 7am to 1pm
