Take note! Tallinja announces alternative routes for St Patrick's Day celebrations in Sliema and St. Julian's
St Patrick’s Day festivities will be happening on Sunday 17th March.
In anticipation of the vibrant St. Patrick's Day celebrations, Tallinja posted on their Facebook page that travellers in Sliema and St. Julian's should note the adjusted transport arrangements.
To accommodate the festivities, shuttle services will be available throughout the day, ensuring smooth travel for all Guinness drinkers.
From early morning until 11:00, regular service will operate along Dingli Street. Following this, from 11:00 until 23:00, shuttles will depart every 5 minutes, with a minimum of 4 vans ensuring efficient transport.
For late-night travellers, between 23:10 and 01:00, shuttles will run every 10 minutes, with a minimum of 2 vans ensuring continued accessibility.
The shuttle route includes key locations along Triq Manwel Dimech, Triq Rodulfu, and Triq Sir Adrian Dingli, among others. Notable stops include Agata, Savoy, Howard, and Ballutta, ensuring convenient access for all partygoers. The journey concludes back at Sliema Ferries.
These transport adjustments aim to enhance accessibility and ensure a hassle-free St. Patrick's Day experience for locals and visitors alike.
