The event will feature over 20 wines to sample, combined with the tasty food that has come to be expected from this popular event.

Local talent will be performing throughout the whole weekend. Friday 8th August sees the first appearance of Lara and the Jukeboys followed by Matthew James and Band. On Saturday 9th, The Crowns will be kicking off before Kurt Calleja takes the stage. And, on Sunday 10th, Cash and Band will rock on prior to the Spiteri Lucas Band and their Legends of Pop show featuring guest singers Glen Vella, Ludwig Galea, and Michela Galea.

The selection of wines to enjoy while listening to the music ranges from the SpritZZers summer favourites to the flagship Gran Cavalier and Grand Vin de Hauteville ranges.

If you’re feeling hungry, live cooking stalls will be serving a tempting variety of both traditional Maltese and international dishes to tease a wide range of palates.

Entrance to the event is free, but wine coins are the common currency at Delicata Classic Wine Festival, exchangeable for glasses of delightful wines. To try the wines, you will need to purchase a purse of 24 wine coins and a souvenir glass (which will then be yours to keep)!
