Only a handful of trips will be made!

As wind is expected to reach as high as force 7 tomorrow, the Gozo Highspeed fast ferry have cancelled the majority of their trips between Mgarr, Gozo and Valletta, Malta.

For tomorrow, 17th April, the last trip from Gozo will be at 7:45am while the last journey from Valletta is set to set to depart at 6:45am.

The rest of the scheduled trips are all cancelled as it would be too unsafe to make the journey.

Although none of today’s (16th April) voyages have been cancelled, the ferry service issued a statement noting that “some delays may be expected due to weather conditions”.

The Gozo Channel ferry crossing between Cirkewwa, Malta and Mgarr, Gozo is operating per schedule and has not been affected yet.
