Netflix has released a full trailer for the latest Enola Holmes movie, which will see the young detective travel to Malta and find herself embroiled in her complex and dangerous case yet.

Enola Holmes 3 will premiere on 1st July, with Millie Bobby Brown returning as Enola, Henry Cavill as her brother Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as their mother Eudoria.

A number of Maltese actors have also been cast, including Joe Azzopardi, who will play the role of Mikiel Mizzi.

Director Philip Barantini said the film will be significantly darker in tone than the first two Enola movies, stating that the third instalment would “do for the franchise what Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban did for the Harry Potter series.”
