A few localities around the islands are set to undergo planned power cuts this weekend due to maintenance works on the country’s hard-at-work power grid.
Fortunately, Enemalta, our local electricity provider, has published a list of localities that will be undergoing some planned maintenance works over the weekend. This way, you too can plan ahead.
These maintenance works are carried out regularly to ensure that the national electricity grid operates safely.
Only select streets from the following localities will be affected.
Here’s the full list of affected areas.
Saturday 15th October:
- Rabat from 4:30am to 12pm
- Pietà from 6:30am to 1:30pm
- Naxxar from 7am to 2pm
- Dingli from 7am to 4pm
- Siggiewi from 7am to 4pm
- Safi from 7am to 1pm
- Birkirkara from 7am to 3pm
- Balzan from 7am to 3pm
- Haz-Zebbug from 8am to 12pm
Sunday 16th October:
- Valletta from 4am to 11am
