Such a scorcher! Malta was among the hottest countries in Europe yesterday
Are you feeling the heat?

We’re burnin’ up! Yesterday, Malta and Cyprus recorded the highest temperature in Europe: a scorching 38°C with feels-like temps of 41°C. #Lawdhavemercy

Temps today are expected to reach same highs of 37°C feeling like 40°C, while thankfully temps are set to drop by a few degrees from tomorrow. On Thursday we should experience highs of 33°C (feeling like 36°C) and 31°C on Friday, feeling like 34°C. Now that’s a little more acceptable!

Health authorities are advising locals to stay cool, drink regularly and avoid staying in the sun for long periods, especially during peak hours. Don’t forget to splat on that sunblock and shield your face with those big sunnies!
