Stray kittens found in busy St Julian's road have recovered & are looking for their forever home!
They were in a poorly condition when they were first rescued.
Six stray kittens found in St Julian's alongside their mother were earlier this month taken in by H'Attard Stray Animal Support Group after their poor condition was noted. With all treatment given and their health recovered, a forever home is being sought for these six beautiful kitties.
Detailing their progress, a Facebook post said: "The kittens were suffering from eye infections and diarrhoea. They have been treated, deflead and dewormed. Mum cat was neutered last week [and] was treated for fleas and worms and has also been microchipped. She has settled in well with us and was a great mummy to her babies. We are reluctant to put her back outside, so we would like to find her a home as well."
Initially scared, the seven-to-eight-week old kittens are now more trusting of humans, have a playful attitude and a good apetite: "They are ready to join a new home and as usual we would be happy if we get requests for adoptions in pairs. It would also be great if mum cat is adopted with one of her babies," the post continued.
Warning interested adopters of the commitment, the post warned: "The adoption process includes an adoption interview and signing of the adoption agreement. Only those seriously interested to adopt and those ready for a cat's lifetime commitment of 15 to 20 yrs need pm."
