Exploring the Neolithic connection with nature! Heritage Malta to host sunrise event at Ħaġar Qim this October
Looking for a special way to start an autumn weekend? Heritage Malta is inviting the public to take part in a unique early-morning event, ‘Il-Bniedem u l-Madwar – Iż-Żerniq’, taking place on Saturday 18th October.
The activity, held in Maltese, will begin at 6:30am and end at 9:00am, focusing on the theme: The relationship between the Neolithic population and the environment.
Participants will enjoy a combination of informative talks and moments of reflection, all set against the peaceful natural surroundings. Following this, a guided visit to Ħaġar Qim will highlight practical examples linked to the discussions. The experience continues with a complimentary breakfast at the Visitor Centre, and those interested may also opt to visit Mnajdra afterwards.
Heritage Malta recommends bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable shoes to fully enjoy the event, as the ground is uneven in some areas. Get your tickets here, priced at €25 or €20 for Heritage Malta members.
