Spring has sprung! Here’s all you need to look out for on the Maltese islands this spring
After some pretty gloomy weather, spring is finally upon us (even if the weather does remain a bit iffy over the weekend) but when the sun shines as brightly as it has today, here are just a few things to be excited for.
1. Blooms & blossoms
Tulips are in season, which symbolise happiness, and, boy, are we happy to welcome spring! Others florals include peonies, azaleas, and daffodils, all giving that vibrant colour we’re looking for!
2. Fruits & veggies
It’s time to brighten up our plates with these spring fruits and veggies! Here come the mangoes, apricots, artichokes, pineapples, avocados, watercress and asparagus. #Yummers!
3. Easter treats
Easter is rolling around and that only means one thing – FIGOLLI. Different shapes, almond filling, a heck of a lot of icing and sweet decorations is something we’re definitely looking forward to!
4. Sandals
As it gets warmer, our tootsies are ready to come out of their little hideaway socks and show off their cute pedicures! Peep-toed shoes, flip flops, strap sandals, matched with a big pair of sunnies and a hat – we can’t wait!
5. Gorgeous weather!
Thank the heavens for great weather! We’re so over gloomy and cold weather and are welcoming the warm sun and clear skies with open arms. Weekend hikes and picnics, here we come!
