The airline will be operating over 190 weekly flights.
Choosing your next summer holiday destination is about to get a whole lot harder, for all the right reasons!
Ryanair has just announced its biggest-ever flight schedule for Malta, consisting of over 190 weekly flights across 62 different routes.
Said schedule, which translates into a $600 million investment in the islands and over 2,500 jobs, will be operated by six different aircrafts, two of which will be Boeing 737 8-200 ‘Gamechanger’ planes.

The 62 routes are also set to include nine brand new summer routes to Bordeaux, Bucharest, Lourdes, Milan Malpensa, Parma, Shannon, Tel Aviv, Warsaw, and Zagreb.
“We look forward to continuing to grow our current six aircraft base at Malta over the coming years and adding to the 62 direct Malta routes now served by the Ryanair Group, and as a result, improving services for those that live, work, or wish to visit Malta,” David O’Brien, CEO of Ryanair’s Malta Air and Lauda Europe, said.
“To allow our customers and visitors to / from Malta to book their summer getaway at the lowest fares, we are launching a three-day seat sale with fares available from just €19,99 one way for travel until October 2022, which must be booked by Saturday the 26th of March. Since these super low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com to avoid missing out,” he continued.
This summer, Ryanair will be operating 60 more weekly flights than the last pre-pandemic summer, in 2019.
What a comeback!
