Just a few short months after Malta’s newest sweetheart Michela Pace was crowned X Factor Malta winner, the search is already on for the next edition’s contestants!

According to our sources, X Factor hopefuls that have applied to be on the show in the past weeks are now being reviewed, kicking off the first round of auditions with the shows’ producers before passing through to the official auditions with the judges.

After submitting a video showcasing their singing abilities, the X Factor applicants are required to audition for the producers at PBS Studios before finding out whether they’ll move on to the next stage – we can’t imagine the excitement!

Who will be the contestants this year? Will the judges be the same? Who will come out on top? So many questions, but for now, we’ll just have to wait to find out!
