Sick of the rain and craving some sun? We get you. Daylight saving hours and relentless thunderstorms have got us feeling all kinds of things.

But rather than wallowing in your misery, why not think of the better days to come by embarking on a thorough session of summer holiday planning?

It also just so happens that Virtu Ferries have just released a string of Easter offers as well as their schedule for summer 2022, so planning that Sicily weekender has just gotten a tad easier!

This coming Easter and summer, Virtu Ferries are set to be operating two vessels – M/V Saint John Paul II and M/V Jean de la Valette – thus contributing to a schedule which contains multiple departures at very convenient times. Perfect for any traveller!

During the Easter holiday period, that is, from 9th to 24th April, the passenger fare for a day return trip is set to cost just €39. If your trip lasts more than a day, your ticket will set you back €49. Worth it, right?

Even if you’re planning on driving up to Sicily during the Easter priod, fares are still really affordable. The fare for a return trip for vehicles is €79 and €59 for motorbikes.

Virtu Ferries’ summer schedule, which runs from 1st May to 30th September, is set to feature daily double trips with super convenient timings.

Summer fares for passengers start from €54 for a day return. The vehicle return fare is €89 and the motorbike return fare is €60.

One last thing!

M/V Jean de la Valette is currently undergoing a €8 million engine refit by renowned German engine manufacturers MTU. The ferry’s set to re-join the Virtu fleet on 1st December, just in time for the Christmas season.
