After being the 'Nurse of the Med' in World War I, and treating the Anzacs so well, the relationship between Malta and Australia continues to be a strong one, with a huge Maltese community settling over in Australia. And now, thanks to this new flight, Qatar Airways is making it easier for Aussies and Maltese-Aussies to travel to our stunning rock, because let’s face it – she’s a beauty!

The flight deets

Previously, passengers wanting to visit our islands or the southern continent would have to fly over via London. But now, things have changed. With Qatar Airways’ new flight, you can fly directly from Sydney to Malta and back via Doha. During the European summer, flights leave daily to Doha, lasting under six hours. #TravelGoals
