We all know that petrol prices fluctuate, but when they increase, we’re never the happy bunnies we usually are. In a statement, Enemed announced that the cost of fuel will be increased as of today. The reason being, they reportedly said, is due to the fact that the price of oil has changed internationally.

The revised fuel prices
1. E-Unleaded will increase from €1.36 per litre to €1.41 per litre.
2. E-Diesel will now cost €1.28 per litre instead of €1.23 per litre.
3. E-Power Petrol will increase to €1.56 per litre from €1.51 per litre
4. E-Power Diesel will increase from €1.33 per litre to €1.38 per litre

Although the revised prices have seen an overall 5c increase, the Ministry for Energy has announced that prices in Malta for petrol and diesel are 3c and 5c less respectively than the European average.
The international price for oil, according to the statement, was €47 per bucket at the beginning of the year, and now stands at €57 per bucket.

Drive wisely, folks and save that petrol!
