A recent post on Facebook’s The Beauty Game has everyone a little shook, with one of the creators expressing her thoughts on the current situation of the beloved Maltese group of all things beauty. But the question on members’ minds is: “Will The Beauty Game be no more?”

“I know many of you love this group, but for months now I’ve been having this feeling of wanting to let it go and close it down,” says admin and creator Allyson Gaffarena (aka @smashingdarlingx on Instagram) in an emotional post. “I feel many people don’t understand the concept of such groups unfortunately. And I truly feel like the way some members treat/talk/refer to us admins and moderators is like we are some sort of bad guys.”
“I feel this has become like a job, a chore to us and I’m not enjoying this anymore,” she admits. “I’m tired of people posting on here, comments get out of hand and then we are the ones being messaged any time around the clock to jump into a situation expecting to do some magic and resolve everything. This was supposed to be a fun beauty group.”
Members of the group have come up with suggestions to help the situation and offered words of encouragement and thanks to Allyson and the rest of the admins who helped create and moderate the group. Others also offer suggestions to users of what not to do. All in all, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that The Beauty Game will still be up and running. We need our beauty inspos!
