Quarantined family in US celebrate Malta in the most touching & artistic way
What a beautiful memento!

One American family who visited Malta in summer of 2016 paid tribute to the island in the sweetest way possible.

The family, which is currently in quarantine at their home in Texas, was busy finding ways to keep themselves entertained. Cue Charlee, a talented artist who used a picture she took herself of the Marsaxlokk fishing village and created a stunning oil painting out of it: "She painted this in just about a week. It is oil on canvas, and the canvas is 4 feet by 5 feet," her husband, Earl, proudly wrote on Facebook.

Addressing Malta in a seperate post, Earl also said: "I hope all of my Maltese friends are doing well! We love your country and will return someday!"

What a beautiful memento!

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
