Public holiday plans? Heritage Malta opens sites for St Paul’s Shipwreck

Looking to spend the upcoming public holiday in a more cultural way? On Tuesday 10th February, marking the Feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck, Heritage Malta is inviting the public to dive deeper into the islands’ remarkable past.

For this special occasion, several Heritage Malta museums and sites that are usually closed on Tuesdays will be open to visitors from 9:00am to 5:00pm, offering a perfect opportunity to explore some of Malta’s most iconic landmarks.

Sites open to the public include:

Valletta

  • Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum
  • MUŻA – The National Community Art Museum
  • National Museum of Archaeology

Three Cities & Harbour Region

  • Fort St Angelo
  • Ħal Tarxien Prehistoric Complex

South Region

  • Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park

Rabat, Mdina & North

  • Skorba Prehistoric Site
  • St Paul’s Catacombs
  • Ta’ Ħaġrat Megalithic Site

Gozo

  • Ġgantija Archaeological Park
  • Ta’ Kola Windmill
