Preserving heritage! Check out the artful restoration of the Chapel of Philermos at St John's Co-Cathedral
The restoration also extends to the marble balustrade.

The Chapel of Philermos has been undergoing restoration effects and St John’s Co-Cathedral posted an interesting glimpse titled ‘Conservation Spotlight’ on their social media.

As we step into this hallowed space by means of these stunning photographs, we witness Raymond delicately cleaning the coat of arms of Grand Master Jean Paul de Lascaris Castellar.

The meticulous restoration extends to the marble balustrade, where vibrant colours are revived, and missing pieces find their place once again.

The Chapel of Philermos, also known as the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, holds a significant place in the narrative of St John's Co-Cathedral. The restoration of the marble altar, entrusted to Vitale Covati by Grand Master Jean Paul de Lascaris Castellar and the Council, speaks to a commitment to preserving not just artefacts but the stories they carry.

What a stunner!
