It’s been closed for refurbishment since 11th February, and finally, this weekend, popular Balluta eatery U Bistrot will open its doors once again with a fresh new look and revamped menu!

Fans of U Bistrot are bound to be excited to head over to their favourite brunch spot once again, and while you do have to wait until this weekend to experience it for yourself, we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of what you can expect!

The design

The aim of the refurbishment was to build on the U Bistrot we all know and love, giving it a gorgeous new facelift, and boy have they done that! The pièce de résistance however has got to be the ceiling – yep, you read that right. In a first locally, the ceiling of the new U Bistrot is entirely covered in flowers – and we are LIVING for this amazing spring fantasy!

The menu

Don’t worry, your favourites will still be there, though they’ll be joined by a whole host of tasty new options. Apart from a new vegan section and yummy new selection of salads, the eatery famed for its breakfast and brunch options will also be launching an amazing new French toast section. This includes mouth-watering options including classics like bacon and maple syrup, and a very interesting TIRAMISU French toast we can’t wait to try!

Following the opening this weekend, U Bistrot will be open Monday to Friday from 10am to 11pm, and Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 9am to 11am – can anyone say #brunchgoals?
