Nothing feels better than finding out that your work week’s broken up by a much-needed public holiday…

Thankfully, this year, only a handful of Malta’s public holidays happen to fall on weekends – meaning that we can all enjoy some well-needed mid-week breaks and even a couple of long weekends!

Here’s the full list of public holidays:

  • Thursday 10th February – Feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck
  • Saturday 19th March – Feast of St Joseph
  • Thursday 31st March – Freedom Day
  • Friday 15th April – Good Friday
  • Sunday 1st May – Worker’s Day
  • Tuesday 7th June – Sette Giugno
  • Wednesday 29th June – Feast of St Peter and St Paul (Imnarja)
  • Monday 15th August – Feast of the Assumption
  • Thursday 8th September – Victory Day
  • Wednesday 21st September – Independence Day
  • Thursday 8th December – Immaculate Conception
  • Tuesday 13th December – Republic Day
  • Sunday 25th December – Christmas Day

Better jot these down in your calendar before you forget!
