Nothing feels better than finding out that your work week’s broken up by a much-needed public holiday…
Thankfully, this year, only a handful of Malta’s public holidays happen to fall on weekends – meaning that we can all enjoy some well-needed mid-week breaks and even a couple of long weekends!
Here’s the full list of public holidays:
- Thursday 10th February – Feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck
- Saturday 19th March – Feast of St Joseph
- Thursday 31st March – Freedom Day
- Friday 15th April – Good Friday
- Sunday 1st May – Worker’s Day
- Tuesday 7th June – Sette Giugno
- Wednesday 29th June – Feast of St Peter and St Paul (Imnarja)
- Monday 15th August – Feast of the Assumption
- Thursday 8th September – Victory Day
- Wednesday 21st September – Independence Day
- Thursday 8th December – Immaculate Conception
- Tuesday 13th December – Republic Day

Better jot these down in your calendar before you forget!
