If you’re planning to attend Museums by Candlelight in Valletta, getting there (and back!) is made easier thanks to several convenient transport arrangements in place for the occasion.

To support sustainable travel and make your evening as smooth as possible, organisers have teamed up with transport providers to offer extended services and special rates for the night.

Here are your options:

Valletta Ferry Services – Ferries to and from Valletta will run until midnight, giving you ample time to enjoy the candlelit charm of the city without rushing.

Barrakka Lift – The Upper Barrakka Lift will also remain operational until 12:30am, offering a quick and scenic route between the Grand Harbour and Valletta's city centre.

Extended bus service – Malta’s public buses will be running on extended hours, so those travelling by bus can rely on late-night connections to and from Valletta.

MCP Car Park – Driving in? A flat-rate parking fee of €3.50 (valid for up to 8 hours) will be available at MCP Car Park, making it affordable and easy to leave your car just a short stroll away from the festivities.

With these options available, there's every reason to opt for a car-free evening or take advantage of the special parking rate while soaking in the magical atmosphere of Museums by Candlelight.

Plan ahead, travel smart, and enjoy a memorable night in Valletta!
